Day Five: Training

Sooo, last night I had a panic attack because I had a nightmare and my mind didn't register where I was when I woke up at 1:41am Alaska time so I had a very mild panic attack. Basically, I just cried for a bit then went back to sleep. Looking back now, I think it's kinda funny. Anywho.


Today we found out who our team member was, and which villages we are going to be going to. For obvious reasons, Chris and I are a team. The villages we are going to are: Tatitlek, Illiamna and Newhalen, and Chenega Bay. Not exactly our first choice, but it was our second choice(:

Before that, however, some of us did some leg wrestling Indian style. 

The Irishman won.

We have Friday and Saturday off THANK YOU GOD!! I am so desperately in need of these next two days to recharge before we go to Camp K down on the Kenai peninsula. I am going to finish watching The Last Unicorn!!! And read a bit of Love and Respect, which Chris has actually been reading and says that it is a really good book. Can't wait to read it(:

It's 9:00pm here in sunny Anchorage, Alaska. I still can't believe that I'm here. (:
